What is a "Minimalist Shoe?"

No Support

A true minimalist shoe has no support allowing your foot to transition through your gait cycle in a natural non-restictive manner.

Zero or Minimal Sole

Another main characteristic of a minimalist shoe is the lack of drop from the heal to forefoot. Many conventional running shoes have a 2 to 1 drop ratio. By elimanating the heel and having a zero drop sole, it allows you to impact the ground more mid-foot more effectively.  It also allows your mid-stance posture to be in a more natural position. Both land mid foot and proper posture will help you run in a way that will help improve running economy and impact.

Lightweight

To have a flexible natural shoe that allows you to almost feel barefoot, it also needs to be light weight. We try to follow the 10oz rule for men's shoes and 9 pz for women's.

Wide Toe Box

Free your toes!!!  Remember to always choose a shoe that allows your metetarsels to spread out in your shoe as natural as possible. Also, go a little longer as well. Make sure you have a full thumbnails width distance (while standing) between the end of your toe and the end of your shoe. Doing so will allow the toes to flatten out and move forward without being restricted as you are coming out of your stance phase.

What is your return policy?

If you are not satified with your purchase, we will accept your return for a full refund. To ensure you have an excellent experience shopping, we provide free shipping for all returned products. When your order arrives it will already have a return shipping label attached. Items must be in the same packaging and same condition aswhen they were recieved.

• You can return your purchase for up to 180 days from the purchase date.
• Products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.
• Return shipping is absolutely FREE.
• You will be provided with a pre-paid UPS domestic or USPS domestic label to return the purchase to us.
• Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
• Once your return is received and inspected by the fulfillment centers (usually within 72 hours of receipt),your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

We ship with UPS and returns are handled through UPS as well.

How do I change or cancel my order?

Please contact the MinimalistRunningCo.com at (435) 214-0824 immediately if you need to change or cancel your order. Be aware some orders very quickly, and it may not always be possible to cancel before being shipped.
